What is new with OPC Synergy®?
Due to sourcing issues, Standard Process has secured a new supplier for the grape extract in OPC Synergy®. This new source comes from the wine-making process in France and contains added sulfites.
Where do sulfites come from?
Small amounts of sulfites are naturally occurring in some foods including apples, rice, onions, and cabbage.1 They are also used as a food additive to increase shelf-life or to halt fermentation.
Why are sulfites listed on the label of OPC Synergy®?
Some individuals can be sensitive to sulfites, resulting in reactions such as hives, asthma, or anaphylaxis. Products containing added sulfites must be labeled as such if sulfites exceed 10 parts per million.2
If someone is allergic to sulpha drugs, will they have a reaction to sulfites?
Not necessarily, these are two separate allergies with no direct connection to each other. Sulfites are different than sulpha drugs, antibiotics, and other medication that contain a sulfonamide molecule.

Each Serving Size (1 Capsule) contains: Proprietary Blend 410 mg: Organic buckwheat (aerial parts) juice powder, organic buckwheat (aerial parts), green tea (leaf) powder, organic carrot, grape seed extract, bilberry (fruit) extract, green tea (leaf) extract, and grape extract. Other Ingredients: Gelatin, water, and calcium stearate. Contains: Sulfites.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
