Gastrex® has been reformulated to remove bentonite, which no longer meets our rigorous standards for quality.  The new formulation features 10% more okra, providing a higher bile acid-binding capacity than other vegetables studied.1 This key function helps discourage the reabsorption of bile into the gastric tract, which may allow cholesterol and toxins to be excreted through the stool.  Plus, Okra may support the gastric environment that reduces the adherence of biotoxins to the gastric tract.2
